Braselton is a town in Georgia located in four counties, Barrow, Gwinnett, Hall, and Jackson. With a population of approximately 8,000 people, it has an area of twelve and a half square miles and was established on farmland once owned by William Harrison Braselton. The town is home to Road Atlanta, one of the premier road racing courses in the United States. Other attractions are the Mayfield Dairy, which includes gift and ice cream shops and is open for tours; and Chateau Elan, a 3,500-acre winery and resort with a championship golf course.
